Supported by The Whitgift Foundation, The Carers' Information Service offers advice, information, support and training to any adult caring for a family member, friend or relative who needs help due to illness, frailty or disability. Carers must live in Croydon, or care for someone living in the Borough.

The free enquiry service offers a listening ear and help liaising with professionals, completing forms and writing letters on a carers' behalf. Training courses enable carers to learn new skills, meet others and take time out from their caring role.

Publications include A Guide for Carers in Croydon, factsheets and newsletters.

Carers News provides valuable information about clubs, societies, events and activities, support organisations, counselling services and useful contact details for carers and those with debilitating illnesses and other disorders.
