Thanks to an overwhelming response to Croydon Heritage Festival 2013 we were delighted to bring the festival back for a second year running. Croydon Heritage Festival 2014 took place from Saturday 21 June to Friday 4 July in conjunction with more than 75 organisations delivering over 100 events.

Organised by the Whitgift Foundation, Croydon Heritage Festival 2014 truly was a community oriented event for all ages.

During the festival fortnight, we invited the people of Croydon to explore the Borough’s fascinating history and heritage through a programme packed full of community based events and activities.

The festival included tours of Croydon’s landmark buildings, talks on many aspects of the Borough’s heritage given by local experts, an exhibition on the history of the area at Fairfield Halls, interactive debates, arts and crafts, live performances, competitions and even a medieval pageant!
