“At Trinity I feel that my son and his future are in the best possible hands.”
These words from a Junior Year parent encapsulate the richness of experience offered by Trinity School to all its pupils.
Trinity’s strong academic results regularly place it among the top schools in the country – it has achieved the best GCSE and A-Level results of any school in the Borough of Croydon for five years running. The School admits boys from the age of 10 and welcomes girls into its Sixth Form. Every pupil at Trinity enjoys the very best in academic teaching across a full and balanced curriculum. Trinity places great emphasis on providing students with the skills to learn for themselves and to think critically in an intellectually vibrant and academically stimulating atmosphere.
The latest Inspection Report (Jan 2014) described Trinity’s extra-curricular programme as “outstanding in both range and quality”. Its Music Department is one of the best-known in Britain and in Sept 2012 it became London’s first All-Steinway secondary school. Trinity was recently awarded the Pro Corda Special Award for Schools in recognition of its “outstanding contribution” to chamber music playing. The only school choir to be invited to sing regularly in the BBC Proms, its pupils have sung on prime time TV shows and appear frequently at The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and with major London orchestras as well as internationally.
Trinity has an outstanding reputation for sporting excellence. The School is extremely proud of the large number of International, District and County honours achieved by its pupils and of its team successes across a wide range of sports including football, hockey, rugby, swimming, cricket and water polo.
And yet there is much more to Trinity than purely academic, musical or sporting success! Families are encouraged to come and experience for themselves the friendliness, wide range of achievement and enthusiasm coupled with superb facilities that makes a Trinity education so special.
