Experienced players, they hold 116 and 94 caps for Wales respectively. They play their four pool matches first against India on 25th July, against Australia on 26th July, against Celtic rival Scotland on 28th July and finally against South Africa on 29th July.

Congratulations go to Mr Sean King who already holds his Gold Medal from the Commonwealth Games (centre) as the Water Polo tournament was held early. Sean King who was also a member of Team GB in the 2012 London Olympics, now coaches Water Polo at Trinity School.

Mark Bishop, Headmaster, had this message of support for the Trinity team: “We are delighted that Sean King has already brought back a Gold medal from the Commonwealth Games. Now the whole of the Trinity community is behind Andy Cornick and Peter Swainson. We wish them all the very best.”

As he departed for Scotland, Andy Cornick said: “These Games are the culmination of 10 years of hard work and now we have the opportunity to play the best teams in the world in the second biggest event in the world after the Olympics. It’s a fantastic feeling!”
