Since we were founded over 400 years ago, we have been committed to supporting our local community in Croydon. Today, as well as continuing our charitable mission to provide education for the young and care for the elderly, set by our founder, the Archbishop John Whitgift, in 1596, we are also involved in projects that will benefit the future of our Borough.

Click the links to find out more about our role in the redevelopment of the Whitgift shopping centre and the regeneration of Old Town, as well as the Croydon Heritage Festival, the first of its kind in the Borough which we've run four years in a row. You’ll also find details of how our schools and care homes support Croydon’s communities and charities.
